Senior Project Manager – 4LM ATC Upgrade

Sam Etchell started at London Underground as a graduate mechanical engineer in 2004, in 2006 Sam took up a position as a Testing and Commissioning Engineer for the Victoria Line Upgrade project.   Over the next 8 years Sam successfully led the Testing and Commissioning team through the delivery of 47 new 2009TS trains, a new Distance To Go Radio signalling system and a new Control Centre for the Victoria Line.  Sam then led an engineering team focussed on delivering further reliability improvements and a World Class Victoria Line train service for London Underground, this included the design, in house delivery and commissioning of the Remote Track Circuit system for the Victoria Line.  Sam is now a Senior Project Manager responsible for the delivering of the Testing and Commissioning on the CBTC upgrade across the District, Circle, Hammersmith and City and Metropolitan Lines.
